FORMER UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov claimed he was treated rudely by a female cabin crew member when he boarded a Frontier Airlines flight.
Sharing his experience on X, Khabib described that despite using polite language and complying with all requests, the woman insisted that he move from his seat.
"First of all, I need to clarify that it was Frontier Airlines, not Alaska Airlines.
"From the start, the woman who approached me asked questions in a very rude manner," he said on Monday.
Earlier, Khabib had been asked to leave a Frontier Airlines flight following a dispute with the cabin crew over his seat in the emergency exit row.
According to media reports, the incident occurred at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas when the flight attendant questioned Khabib's ability to assist other passengers in case of an emergency in the exit row.
In a viral video, the flight attendant can be heard saying that she could not allow Khabib to sit there and offered him the option to change seats or leave the plane.
However, Khabib refused, explaining that the action was unfair since he had followed all procedures and confirmed his fluency in English as requested at check-in.
After two minutes of conversation, the woman contacted security and Khabib was instructed to leave the plane.
"I spent 1.5 hours before boarding a flight with another airline and headed to my destination.
"I did my best to stay calm and respectful, as you can see in the video. But the crew member could have handled it better by simply being kind to the customer," Khabib added.
