SHAH ALAM - Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) owner and the Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has announced plans to unveil several key appointments for Harimau Malaya.
In an Instagram Story post on Sunday, Tunku Ismail revealed that the new head coaches for the national Harimau Malaya squad and the Harimau Muda (Under-23 national team) would be announced on Monday.
"The announcement will be made regarding the head coach for the national team, the Under-23 coach, the medical team, and the technology that will impact the national squad," he wrote.
Tunku Ismail also added that the appointments of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Technical Director for Harimau Malaya would be made public.
He disclosed that a meeting was held with FIFA representatives to discuss identifying Malaysian heritage players competing overseas.
"There was a meeting with FIFA representatives to gather data on Malaysian players of mixed heritage playing overseas," Tunku Ismail added in the post. - AWANI
