Love often weaves unexpected and beautiful chapters and for Nina Sabrina Ismail Sabri, daughter of former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, a new chapter has begun.
Nina recently married her childhood friend and best friend, Hafiz Osman, in a heartfelt and intimate ceremony.
The solemnisation ceremony, officiated by her father, marked the beginning of their union with just a single lafaz.
Surrounded by close family and friends, the couple exchanged vows, with Hafiz presenting a gold necklace as the dowry.
Nina took to social media to share glimpses of the joyous occasion.
The newlyweds, dressed in matching white ensembles, radiated elegance and happiness as they celebrated their union at a hotel venue.
Adding a touch of grace to the event, Nina’s former husband, renowned fashion designer Datuk Jovian Mandagie, extended his heartfelt congratulations via Instagram Stories.
Despite being unable to attend, Jovian wrote a touching message:
"Congratulations to the newlyweds! Sorry I couldn’t be there to witness your beautiful union. My heartfelt prayers and best wishes are with you both, @eninaismailsabri @chafizosman7.”
Jovian, who shares a seven-year-old daughter, Jeanelle Nika Mandagie, with Nina, also expressed his wish for Nina’s happiness, saying, "We’ll catch up over dinner when I’m back in KL soon!”
He further admired his daughter’s attire for the event, a custom creation from his fashion brand, writing, "My beautiful baby girl in her latest ©jovianmandagie couture.”
Nina’s journey to this new chapter comes after her amicable separation from Jovian last year.
The couple, who tied the knot on Dec 11, 2013, mutually decided to part ways after nearly a decade of marriage.
Jovian announced their split in December, highlighting the mutual respect and understanding behind their decision.
As the managing director and founder of Capello by Nina, a one-stop beauty centre, Nina has since focused on rebuilding her life and cherishing precious moments with her daughter.
Her recent marriage to Hafiz marks a fresh beginning, filled with love and the support of those dearest to her.
