MALAYSIAN actor Keith Foo's former wife, Kim Raymond, has embraced Islam, marking a significant chapter in her life.
The 39-year-old entrepreneur and stylist converted to Islam on Oct 24, as announced by the New Muslims Community, also known as Al-Khaadem, through their official Instagram account.
"With the Hidayah of Allah SWT, Sister Kim Amal Raymond from Malaysia embraced Islam at Al-Khaadem markaz today.
"May Allah SWT grant her steadfastness and make her a righteous, practising Muslim. Ameen,” read the post.
The announcement was accompanied by photos of Kim dressed in black, surrounded by her loved ones, including family and friends, who attended the solemn occasion.
She was also pictured alongside renowned preacher and Al-Khaadem President Datuk Sheikh Hussain Yee, who witnessed the momentous event.
Kim, well-known in the Malaysian fashion and hospitality scene, was celebrated for her effortless chic style.
In 2016, she was nominated for the Woman of Style category at the Elle Style Awards.
Her personal life has also garnered attention.
She married Foo in 2015, and the couple shares a daughter, Skylar, born in 2017.
They amicably divorced in 2020 after five years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences but remained cooperative as co-parents.
