LAPISAN Pâtisserie (Lapisan) was successfully launched at Mid Valley Megamall as its first outlet, delivering a traditional French concept combined with Malaysian flavours to offer customers a unique culinary experience from both countries.
The outlet honoured Malaysia's rich culinary heritage while blending the best French methods to create exquisitely crafted pastries and petit cakes with bold, unique indigenous tastes.
Beautifully presented, the pastries were crafted with delicate textures, and with every morsel, customers experienced balanced flavours that set them apart from other patisseries.
Lapisan Pâtisserie’s Managing Director Patrick Sim stated that they aimed to offer customers more than just pastries but also an unforgettable culinary experience that engaged their sensory and emotional experiences.
"We were thrilled to bring Lapisan Pâtisserie to Mid Valley Megamall, where every layer of our pastries told a story of heritage meeting creativity," he added.
The outlet was located at Centre Court, Lower Ground Floor of the mall, marking an important milestone in Lapisan's journey toward expanding more outlets across the country.
It was also considered a stepping stone for the brand to introduce world-class French patisserie to a wider audience in Malaysia while preserving Malaysia's food flavours and ingredients.
The menu featured a range of sweet and savoury options, from classic French pastries to creative Malay innovations that combined traditional French techniques with local ingredients.
Must-try recommendations included:
Honey Toast: A signature dish, baked milk bread coated with honey, butter, and coarse sugar, finished with a caramel glaze. Golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, it was addictive, offering a tantalising experience that would keep customers returning.
Strawberry Maritozo: A sweet bun filled with chantilly mascarpone and topped with fresh strawberries, providing a perfect treat for those craving something sweet.
Sarawak Pepper Chicken Croissant: A favourite for savoury croissant lovers, filled with black pepper chicken, black sesame seeds, and black pepper mayonnaise.
Peach Delight Danish: Made with croissant dough, this danish was filled with almond cream and topped with juicy halved peaches.
Aiming to pioneer the timeless artistry of French pastry traditions through bakes infused with vibrant Malaysian flavours, Lapisan Pâtisserie invited customers to enjoy their experience at the outlet while celebrating history, creativity, and cultural harmony.
