HULU SELANGOR - The police have confirmed receiving a report regarding the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl from a house in Bandar Utama Batang Kali on Oct 12.
Hulu Selangor district police chief Superintendent Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said that the report concerning Saraliana Muhamad's disappearance was filed by the teenager's mother on Friday.
"I confirm that the police received the report, and we are conducting an investigation under the missing persons case," he said when contacted on Tuesday.
Earlier, news of Saraliana's disappearance went viral on social media.

She was reported missing after leaving her house on a Honda motorcycle at 4pm.
The last time she was seen, the teenager was wearing a black shirt, scarf, and pants.
