Singapore police find no suspicious items on bomb-threatened flight

The airline received bomb-threat messages on flight AXB684 bound for Singapore from India, which landed at Changi Airport on Tuesday evening, escorted by fighter jets.

SINGAPORE - Singapore police said no threatening items were found onboard Air India Express flight AXB684 after security checks, reported Xinhua quoting local media on Wednesday.

The airline received bomb-threat messages on flight AXB684 bound for Singapore from India, which landed at Changi Airport on Tuesday evening, escorted by fighter jets, Singapore's Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said on social media.
