"We believe that true progress goes beyond just meeting today’s needs. It’s about making decisions that ensure the well-being of tomorrow.

"As we face global environmental challenges, it’s crucial that we rethink how we build, how we live and how we coexist with nature," he said.

Designed to harmonise with its natural surroundings, Rimbawan Township is perched at an elevation of 821 metres above sea level.

The township's master plan revolves around the natural features of the area, with rivers and waterfalls serving as its core elements.

These natural assets are complemented by green corridors, which would act as vital pathways for local wildlife, allowing birds and other creatures to travel freely within the landscape.

This design not only enhances the township’s biodiversity but also strengthens its ecological integrity.

The innovative Miyawaki Method plays a central role in Rimbawan’s approach to enhancing biodiversity.

By densely planting native tree species, this reforestation technique accelerates plant growth and encourages natural succession, resulting in a thriving ecosystem.

LBS also integrates the concept of a sponge city into the development, which involves creating permeable pathways and planting areas that help absorb rainwater, reduce runoff and improve soil health.

Together, these features transform Rimbawan into a resilient, flood-resistant community.

Lim added that sustainability is central to LBS's development strategy, with Rimbawan Township serving as a clear reflection of LBS' commitment to building responsibly for the future.

"As developers, we are entrusted with more than just creating buildings, we have the privilege and duty to shape the communities and environments that will be home to future generations," he said.

Creating spaces for sustainable living

Rimbawan Township is meticulously designed to offer a holistic living experience that integrates seamlessly with nature.

The development is structured into several interconnected areas, each serving a specific purpose while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and community well-being.

The EcoCommunity zone features a range of housing options, including bungalow lots, landed properties and high-rise units, all designed to promote an active lifestyle with over nine kilometres of jungle trails and six kilometres of cycling and jogging paths.

These green spaces aim to strengthen residents' bond with nature, encouraging a healthier and balanced way of life.

In the EcoCommercial area, the township’s social and commercial hub is nestled by a flowing river, offering various amenities and retail options that foster community engagement in a natural setting.

The EcoDiscovery zone spans over 50 acres of preserved nature, inviting residents to explore and connect with the local flora and fauna.

Additionally, the EcoPlay area features playgrounds that seamlessly blend with the landscape, inspiring children to embrace sustainability and a love for the environment.

Bayu Hills, elevating highland living

Alongside the launch of Rimbawan Township, LBS has introduced Bayu Hills, its latest high-rise residential project set to achieve a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM453 million.

Bayu Hills features 642 residential units, with prices starting at RM501,900 and unit sizes ranging from 500 to 1,067 square feet.

"Projects like this reflect our dedication to sustainable development, showcasing how we integrate nature preservation, community well-being and ethical governance into every facet of our operations," he added.
