SHAH ALAM - GISBH Holding (GISBH) has vehemently denied all allegations of child exploitation, sodomy, and gang activities, dismissing them as attempts to tarnish the company's reputation.
"Regarding the issue of sodomy, it is inconceivable that I would direct all teenagers and children to adopt or practice such a immoral lifestyle.
"I have five children myself. It is against my nature to want my children to engage in such behaviour.
"Reflect on this, our (GISBH management’s) nature is not corrupted, despite the many negative things said about us,” GISBH chief coordination officer Adib Attamimi said in a Facebook video on Friday.
GISBH faced allegations linking it to the deviant teachings of al-Arqam and Rufaqa, including exploiting religion and children for fundraising and conducting business.
On the management’s decision to restrict phone use among teenagers under GISBH's care, Adib stressed that this measure is intended to prevent actions that could lead to immoral behaviour.
"Phones are instruments that can trigger immoral actions like fornication.
"Naturally, as responsible individuals, we want to safeguard and preserve the integrity of these children.
"It is astonishing that we (GISBH management) would neglect them (the children). We must consider how strong they are in facing these challenges,” he said.
Adib also addressed a viral video showing members of Remaja Pembela Ummah (RPU) allegedly involved in gang activities, stating that the footage did not accurately represent the situation but was instead an emotional reaction to personal family issues.
"There is no acceptance of violence, brutality, or gang activities within GISBH.
"We should be informed of all the facts and not just listen to one side of the story,” Adib added.
