Selangor will face Sabah, who trashed the Federal Territories (FT) 6-0 in the other women's semi-final yesterday.

KUCHING - Selangor powered their way into the 2024 Malaysia Games (Sukma) women's football final in style, with a 3-0 victory over Pahang despite being down to 10 players.

In the match played at the State Stadium here, Selangor took the lead in the 27th minute through Nur Adrienna Zamzaihiri before the ‘Red Giants’ were dealt a blow when goalkeeper Nur Ezza Ashikin Abdul Razak was red-carded for fouling a player in the 35th minute.

Osmera Omaro's side kept the pressure on in the second half and were duly rewarded with Nur Adrienna’s second goal in the 61st minute.

Nur Ainsyah Murad sealed the win for Selangor with an added-time strike, confirming their spot in the final, scheduled for 8.15 pm on Thursday.
