Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf 2024 draws over 100,000 visitors in three days

The event was organised as a gesture of gratitude to the readers who have consistently supported Sinar Harian that has been in the market for 18 years.

SHAH ALAM - Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf 2024 successfully attracted 100,000 visitors over its three-day run at the Karangkraf Group headquarters here.

Sinar Karangkraf Group chief executive officer Farah Hussamuddin said the carnival, which started on Friday and had its finale festivities late Sunday evening, offered a variety of activities for all age groups.

She said the event was organised as a gesture of gratitude to the readers who have consistently supported Sinar Harian that has been in the market for 18 years.

"Over the 18 years of Sinar Harian’s journey, we have faced numerous ups and downs that have matured us.

"Sinar Harian has evolved and transformed in line with the passage of time, technological advancements, and the needs of Malaysian,” Farah said during the closing ceremony on Sunday.

The carnival was held to express thanks to the supporters and to provide an opportunity for everyone to experience Malaysia’s diverse arts and culture.

Farah emphasised the importance of balancing the digital and technological world with cultural traditions to maintain Malaysia's multi-ethnic identity.

She also expressed appreciation to strategic partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and agencies involved throughout the carnival.

"Your unwavering support is something we can never fully repay. I would also like to extend my congratulations and gratitude to all the team members of the Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf who have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event. Your dedication is remarkable and highly valued,” she said.

Farah, on behalf of Sinar Harian and the entire Karangkraf Group, extended heartfelt thanks to the visitors who supported the carnival throughout its duration.

She hoped the carnival would serve as a continuous bridge between Sinar Harian, involved parties, and the Malaysian public in the future.

"May Sinar Harian continue to be a platform that empowers Malaysia’s voice with sincerity and transparency,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Group Chief Editor for Sinar Harian and Sinar Karangkraf Zamri Rambli expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the carnival, which saw extraordinary turnout and success.

He noted that the success of the event was due to the support and cooperation of all parties, especially the Karangkraf Group staff.

"Endless thanks to the Karangkraf Group staff, exhibitors, clients, strategic partners, visitors, and everyone involved in making this three-day carnival a success,” he said.
