Rizman Ruzaini first Malaysian designer featured at London's V&A Museum

Supermodel Naomi Campbell personally invited the designers to be part of the exhibition.

Malaysian designers Rizman Ruzaini continues to solidify their global presence after their designs have been included in a prestigious exhibition by Naomi Campbell.

The exhibition titled "Naomi: In Fashion” held at Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum in South Kensington, London explores the illustrious career of Campbell and the key looks she has modeled, as well as her influence and activism.

According to the Malaysian designers, the supermodel personally asked for their dress to be a part of her exhibition.

"To see our dress, being displayed alongside designers that we look up to when studying fashion, such as Christian Dior, Chanel, Versace, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Karl Lagerfeld, is truly, truly the stuff that dreams are made of.

"On top of that, we are the first Malaysian designer to have their creation on display in the presitigious V & A Museum, is out of this world.

"We promise, this is just the beginning. We will work harder and make sure to put Malaysia on the world fashion map,” wrote the designers in an Instagram post.

Naomi donning Rizman's design when she first wore it during Dubai Fashion Week last year, on Oct 15, showcasing Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

Previously, Rizman Ruzaini made headlines when Campbell made her Dubai Fashion Week debut by walking the runway wearing an exclusive design by them.

It was revealed that the designers paid a whopping RM3 million to hire the model for the show.
