SHAH ALAM - Selangor FC’s Faisal Halim expressed his willingness to sacrifice his lucrative career to ensure his family’s safety, following the recent acid attack on him that took place on May 5.
During an emotional press conference today, where Faisal appeared in public for the first time since the incident, he revealed his readiness to forgo a substantial income to ensure the safety and well-being of his family.
Speaking to the media about his concerns, Faisal's emotions were palpable as he addressed the delicate issue of his family's security.
"I am willing to work at the village, for RM50, RM100 a day, as long as my family is safe,” he said.
The footballer emphasised that no amount of money could replace the peace of mind that comes from knowing his loved ones are safe.
