WASHINGTON - A jury has found US President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, guilty on all three charges in a federal gun trial, German news agency (dpa) quoted several media outlets’ reports on Tuesday, citing journalists in the courtroom.

Hunter Biden was accused of making false statements when purchasing weapons in October 2018 and concealing his drug addiction at the time. He could face up to 25 years in prison.

However, it is unclear how severe a sentence the judge responsible would hand down, as Hunter Biden has no criminal record.

The US president previously said that he would not pardon his son in the event of a conviction. - BERNAMA-dpa
