SHAH ALAM - MCA president Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong has reminded Seputeh MP Teresa Kok not to associate him with the death threat issue received by the DAP leader.
He said this following media reports stating that Kok had mentioned his name in relation to the issue.
"Teresa, do not simply mention my name because I really do not like it, especially in relation to such a serious matter.
"The threatening message along with the bullet sent to you had very poor Malay language usage. How could my Malay (language) be that bad?
"If I were angry with you and had to send something, I would definitely send two bottles of Malaysian-made palm oil to ‘smarten you up," he said in a Facebook post on Monday.
Previously, it was reported that Kok, who is also the DAP vice chairman, received a death threat letter with two bullets and found the incident absurd.
Kok lodged a police report for further action and the authorities had come to the mailbox section of the condominium to conduct an inspection.
Commenting further, Wee also reminded to let the police carry out their investigation without mentioning any names following the report that had been made.
"Anyway, you have already lodged a police report; let the police investigate and take action. Why mention my name again?" he questioned.
