Recent online chatter has erupted over a deleted tweet claiming that Iain Armitage, renowned for his role in ‘Young Sheldon’, has embraced Islam.
Speculation has intensified following rumors circulating on social media alleging that Armitage, 15, known for having no religious beliefs, has converted to Islam.
The tweet was by Nadeem Ashra, founder of Dawah Motivation, which purportedly showed Armitage taking his Shahada, a fundamental declaration of faith in Islam, under the guidance of a United Kingdom (UK) Dawah specialist.
The tweet, accompanied by a photo of Armitage, wrote: "Actor Iain Armitage took his Shahada today with the London street Dawah team, Leicester Square. Takbeer!"
However, amidst the online frenzy, there remains no concrete evidence to substantiate claims that Iain Armitage has embraced Islam.
The actor has not addressed these rumors publicly.
