"I'm very happy because I wasn't expecting it to be this exciting and everybody gave such a good response. The crowd was very engaging and very enthusiastic about listening to what the speakers were discussing.
"For the second She Leads installation, it's not your typical Sinar Daily, as this is more towards cultural and lifestyle segment as opposed to always very serious news and content, news content.
"So, I think this is very exciting that the fact that we do have a crowd pooler for more light lifestyle cultural content and physical, physical presence,” she said.
Tasnim added that the event aimed to promote self-love and educate women on the importance of dressing, not only for success but also to foster a positive self-image, enhancing both their personal and professional lives.
Following the success of the She Leads 1 event, themed "Setting Goals & Structure", which took place on February 27 at the Karangkraf Auditorium, two influential leaders, BloomThis founder Penny Choo and Sedania Chief Executive Officer Nisa Ismail collaborated to share insights into their success and persistence in goal setting.
Meanwhile, at yesterday’s 'She Leads 2' event, seasoned fashion stylist Andrea Wong and acclaimed makeup artist Nabilah Nordin shared their secrets for setting goals and establishing structure in the working world under the theme "Dressing Right & Feeling Good".
Attendees were treated to lessons on colour theory and practical makeup advice from Nabilah, aimed at demystifying the art of makeup application and empowering women to exude professionalism effortlessly.
Additionally, Nabilah provided valuable insights into achieving a fresh and rosy makeup look with minimal application, using blush and lipstick tailored to each audience member's undertone.
Meanwhile, Wong, renowned as the fashion stylist and consultant for the blockbuster movie Crazy Rich Asians, showcased her expertise in enhancing corporate attire and translating dressing-right concepts into reality.
Drawing from her extensive experience as a former fashion editor, Wong offered guidance on selecting clothes that complement various skin tones and demonstrated effective mix-and-match techniques with jewellery.
