SHAH ALAM - A group of masked individuals has once again captured public attention by distributing complimentary chicken eggs around the As-Salam mosque in Puchong Perdana.
The group, known only by their alias XYZMission and maintaining anonymity, previously garnered attention for distributing fresh chicken to the public near Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur.
In a video shared on XYZMission's TikTok page, the public was seen crowding around the masked group to collect the free eggs.
A member of the group was also seen holding a paper banner that read, "Free chicken eggs" and "We are not influencers, we are not celebrities, we are not anyone."
This received various reactions from social media users, but many had praised the initiative by the group while hoping that such efforts would continue in the long term.
On its TikTok status, XYZMission said what they shared was a blessing from Allah SWT.
"We are not religious preachers, but there is no harm in inviting people to do good deeds because it is a commendable practice.
"Those who engage in such acts would receive multiplied rewards, especially if the deed is being followed by others," he said.
Last Thursday, the group's action of distributing chicken for free to the public near Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, earned praise.
They placed plastic bags containing chicken in a car trunk and handed them out to anyone who came to take them.
