SHAH ALAM - The Kajang Municipal Council (MPKJ) is urged to take action regarding a group of stray dogs threatening the safety of residents around Bandar Baru Bangi.
Through a post on the X app, a user named Aderian Ahmad reported that the disturbance caused by stray dogs resulted in his wife being involved in an accident around 10am on Wednesday.
He said the incident occurred when a group of stray dogs attacked and chased his wife until she fell.
"My wife fell with her head hitting the shoulder of the road, causing her left wrist to break," he said.
He added that as a result of the incident, his wife had to go to Sultan Idris Shah Hospital, Serdang for emergency treatment.
"My wife suffered swelling on the forehead, possibly due to bleeding under the skin.
"I hope the incident receives the attention of the authorities because strays can be harmful to humans," he added.
In his latest tweet, Aderian thanked Bangi Member of Parliament Syahredzan Johan and Sungai Ramal state assemblyman (ADUN) Mohd Shafie Ngah for taking action on the stray dog issue.
"May everyone work together for the people to the fullest extent.
"I have also been informed that each of them has taken appropriate action, thank you," he said.
