Anta Malaysia initiates shoe donation drive in spirit of Ramadan

KUALA LUMPUR - Anta Malaysia has launched its #ANTABersamaAnda shoe donation campaign, embodying the essence of compassion and solidarity.

In the spirit of Ramadan, the global sportswear brand invited Malaysians to unite in donating their pre-loved shoes to support the less fortunate in line with its commitment to give back to the communities.

Anta will be collecting used shoes from today (March 20) until April 5 at designated drop-off points in the Klang Valley including at Exhange TRX, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Sunway Pyramid and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru.

The goal is to collect at least 200 pairs of shoes which will be distributed to underserved communities.

The initiative will be supported by Teach for Malaysia and Women of Will.

Besides that, Anta will also be supplying new shoes and apparel, ensuring that recipients can confidently embrace the Hari Raya celebration.

Its country manager Pang Sook Fong said she believed that the initiative will not only give love to old shoes again but also reduce environmental footprint.

"Anta is thrilled to spearhead this meaningful effort, intertwining sustainability with social responsibility.

"By repurposing pre-loved shoes, empowering underprivileged individuals with good shoes, particularly children and women, we aspire to make a tangible difference in their lives, fostering a brighter future.

To complement the #ANTABersamaAnda campaign, Anta has also kicked off a series of in-store events which started from March 15.
