SHAH ALAM - The Iftar Ala Madinah@Karangkraf 2024 program offers special seating facilities for persons with disabilities (OKU) and the elderly attending from March 13 to April 5.
Project Leader Firdaus Hussamuddin said the initiative was undertaken to support the community who were willing to enliven the open-space concept breaking of the fast program.
"Visitors also do not need to worry if it rains because we have provided a covered area, namely a tent equipped with several other facilities.
"We provide 1,000 food packs daily but visitors are encouraged to scan the provided QR Code to avoid wastage or stock shortages," she said when contacted on Tuesday.
The Iftar Ala Madinah @Karangkraf programme would start at 6pm daily except Saturday and Sunday at Dataran Karangkraf, Section 15, here.
Among the activities provided are talks by religious leaders, lectures, food sales and other side activities, in addition to seeking the blessings of Ramadan.
In addition, Firdaus said this programme brings a difference by using the 'single every point' concept, where seats are reserved only for those who have registered.
"I hope visitors come early to avoid congestion in the parking area and get a comfortable seat for breaking their fast. They can also bring food from outside.
"We also provide a place for Tarawih prayers and other facilities such as ablution areas and comfortable toilets for visitors," he added.
