GAZA - The Jordanian Armed Forces delivered emergency medical supplies to the Jordanian Sahara Hospital in Gaza by parachutes on Thursday.

Jordan's army has two field hospitals in the Gaza Strip - one in Gaza City, established 14 years ago, and a second set up last month in south of the enclave, pummelled by weeks of Israeli attacks, Anadolu reported.

Previously, Jordanian Air Force planes also delivered medical aid to the field hospital in Gaza "in order to maintain the continuity of the hospital's operations and to keep delivering health and medical services to the people of Gaza".

The first airdrop took place on Nov 6, followed by the second six days later, the third on Nov 30, the fourth on Dec 7, the fifth on Dec 15, and the sixth on Dec 21.
