Toddler drowns in Rantau Panjang swamp

PASIR MAS - A 15-month-old baby boy was found drowned today in a swamp near Taman Rantau Baru in Rantau Panjang, here.

Rantau Panjang Fire and Rescue station chief Shapawi Stapa said the body of Firdaus Mohd Faisal, who was a Thai national, was found at 2.20 pm.

"The body was found at 2.20 pm by the Water Rescue Team (PPDA) in the area where the victim was reported missing.

"The victim's body was taken to the Pasir Mas Hospital," he said when contacted. - BERNAMA
