KUALA LUMPUR - Amanah President Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu expressed confidence in the Unity Government's continuation beyond the 16th General Election (GE16). He attributed this optimism to improved support from civil servants, a crucial voting bloc in elections.
"Civil servants' votes for us were previously affected by allegations of a potential government change after the state elections. "However, the government remained stable, and their confidence has since improved," he said during his opening address at the Amanah Youth Convention 2023 in Bangsar here today.
"I am confident that after four years, the Unity Government will endure, and civil servants will continue to support us," he said.
