PASIR MAS - Pas Information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari says Pakatan Harapan (PH) is breaking the promise made in its previous manifesto when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim remains as Finance Minister despite the Cabinet reshuffle announcement on today.
He said that this showed that the Prime Minister did not have faith in other ministers to carry out the duties as Finance Minister.
"Honestly, I hope that the duties of the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister will be split.
"It is the main thing that the people want to see," he told reporters during a press conference today.
Commenting on the size of the Cabinet, the Pasir Mas Member of Parliament said he hoped it would be able to meet the current needs of the people.
"If in the past the Cabinet was smaller to save the people's money, now... if it is big, what is the government's excuse?
"I expect the Cabinet to be more proactive and also practical," he said.
