SHAH ALAM - Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has paid a visit to Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang at his residence in Rusila, Marang.
Throughout Dr Mahathir's involvement in politics, this was the first time he has set foot in Rusila.
Hadi took to Facebook to convey his heartfelt appreciation to Dr Mahathir for visiting his residence.
"We are pleased to welcome Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to my residence in Rusila today.
"May God bless Tun (Dr Mahathir) with health and grace," he said in his post.
Hadi further uploaded a 37-second video showing Dr Mahathir's arrival at his residence, having lunch together, and performing Zohor prayers in Rusila mosque.
Also present were Pas deputy president, who is also the Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, and Bachok member of parliament, Mohd Syahir Sulaiman.
