SHAH ALAM - Prominent preacher Nourman Ali Khan joins the World Quran Convention (WQC) as its director.
In a Facebook post, Nouman expressed his utmost gratitude and excitement over the special prayer programme.
"After attending last year and meeting the wonderful people behind this project, I was inspired by the vision of the World Quran Convention to integrate the teachings of the Quran into our everyday lives through deep study, dialogue, and a variety of creative multimedia," he said in a post posted on his account.
Nouman said the World Quran this year will see a line-up of great scholars participating in an interesting panel discussion.
"This year I'll be joining a line-up of brilliant scholars to celebrate the Book of Allah, in particular Surah Al-Insan, and to participate in some interesting panel discussions on how we can creatively share the stories and lessons within the Quran in ways that create a long-term, meaningful impact," he added.
The 'Serve to be served: A Divine Guidance' themed special prayers will be held on Dec 2, 2023, from 8am to 7pm at the Movenpick Hotel and Convention Centre KLIA.
The event will also be attended by Religious Affairs Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar Ibrahim, Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil, and many more preachers and students.
