Burger lovers and foodies of all stripes, get ready to shake up your taste buds because the legendary Shake Shack will soon sizzle its way into Malaysia.
Shake Shack, which originates from New York is partnering with SPC, a Korean-based global food and beverage company, and other local partners to set up a joint in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, specifically at the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) building.
The casual fast food restaurant is known for serving fun versions of American classics from its iconic ShackBurger, Chicken Shack, ‘Shroom Burger, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Shakes and more.
However, no official opening date was confirmed.
Shake Shack’s arrival in Malaysia follows after another popular American burger joint Five Guys opened its doors in Pavilion KL and in Genting Highlands.
But Malaysians argued that the menu items were overpriced, where a cheeseburger will set you back at RM38 and a large fries is RM26.
