LUMUT - Police have sent samples of bones and pieces of cloth, including the Perak flag, to identify the two skeletons found on the roof of a company building in Sitiawan last Monday.
Manjung District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Nordin Abdullah said the sample has been sent to the Chemistry Department for further action to help investigate the case.
"The cause of death is still under investigation, as it will take three to four days to be analysed.
"So far, there are no new clues, but there are several next-of-kin who have come forward so far," he said when contacted on Wednesday.
He also asked the public who have lost their family members to come forward to help the investigation carried out in accordance with Section 302 of the Penal Code.
Previously, it was reported that a woman's skull and bone fragments believed to be human were found on the roof of a company building around 10.20am.
In addition to several pieces of black adhesive tape, pieces of colourfully patterned cloth, pieces of the Perak flag, two human skulls in two plastic packages, and a knife were also found.
