BENTONG - Newly minted Barisan Nasional (BN) Pelangai state assemblyman Datuk Amizar Abu Adam has unveiled an ambitious plan to upgrade the internet network in the constituency.
"I extend my gratitude to the voters in Pelangai, as this is a responsibility that must be fulfilled.
"There are many things that need to be implemented, particularly in terms of infrastructure.
"From what I see, I am determined to enhance the internet connectivity, which is one of the plans that have been outlined.
"In fact, the late Datuk Seri Johari Harun also initiated balanced development in every village in Pelangai," he told Sinar Daily.
Amizar announced yesterday that he will continue the legacy of the late Johari, who perished in a plane crash on Aug 17 in Shah Alam.
He further elaborated that he is committed to upgrading the internet network, which is important for all Pelangai residents.
Amizar won the Pelangai by-election yesterday, securing 7,324 votes against Perikatan Nasional's (PN) Kasim Samat who garnered 4,375 votes.
