"I welcome the involvement of women in the local courier industry and I don’t view it as being dominated by men. She explained that the Acting Area Manager programme, which provides employees the leeway of managing their delivery schedule while they build their careers, enabled mothers to send their children to school as they managed their deliveries before their shifts ended.

Cheah also shared that a company culture that valued policies and discipline had developed, leading to the birth of a community centred around safe conduct during customer deliveries, thanks to its inclusive hiring policies.

A model SPX employee, Siti Sakinah Yusof, 33, who started off at the company as a contract supervisor at the South Kuala Terengganu hub, ended up being offered a permanent position due to her strong integrity and work ethics.
