Roti canai named world's best bread

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia's favorite roti canai has been named the world's best bread by Tasteatlas.

The announcement was made through Tasteatlas official social media platform, Instagram today.

According to the chart in question, roti canai has successfully surpassed India, known for its popular naan bread, and Europe, which is renowned for being the world's best pastry producer.

This is not the first time roti canai has received recognition from Tasteatlas.

Previously, in July of last year, it was named the best "flatbread" in the world and once again surpassed India's naan bread.

Last year, roti canai was also awarded as the best "street food" in the world by that international website.
