SHAH ALAM — The Education Ministry is collaborating with the Malaysian Education Service Commission (PPM) to address the shortage of teachers by the end of this year.
The Education Minister stressed this matter during the Townhall Rakyat at the Karangkraf Complex, hosted by Samuel Isaiah, today.
This town hall meeting was particularly special as it was held in conjunction with the Sinar Bestari Education Carnival.
"We will examine this matter more closely, and it's important for me to clarify that teacher recruitment and sufficiency are not only the responsibility of the Education Minister but also of PPM," she added.
At the same time, she emphasised that this matter will be resolved by the end of this year.
"We must undertake a serious projection, ensuring that the incoming teachers are adequate. "So, please pray for this process to go well.
"Becoming a teacher is not easy; many say it's unattainable, and that's what we must achieve," she elaborated.
