SHAH ALAM - The atmosphere at the Karangkraf headquarters here, this morning is abuzz with excitement, as busses ferrying school children, students, teachers arrive for the much anticipated Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari today.
The carnival will kickstart with a choral speaking competition at 9am, with more than five schools participating.
Some students in colourful attires were seen practising at the eleventh hour, giving in their best before the real competition begins.
Eventhough the space is filled with hundreds of students, the situation here is under controlled by security guards and fellow teachers.
The Sinar Bestari Education Carnival, is the largest education carnival in Selangor, organised in collaboration with the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS), and will run for three days (Sept 8 to 10), with Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, officiating the opening at 3 pm.
Throughout the carnival, there are various programs and activities for participants at five main locations.
Among the activities held on the main stage will be the choral speaking competition for national schools (SK), special sessions with Bank Rakyat, and a Kashoorga reminder from Nu Ideaktiv Sdn Bhd.
From 3pm onwards, there will be demonstrations from the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) and the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP).
For foodies there will be the Makan Fest where participants can indulge and have fun eating a varieties of foods.
