MOSCOW - At least 23 people were injured when a car ploughed into a fast food restaurant in the city of Rosenberg, Texas, the Rosenberg Police Department has said.
"At approximately 11.22 am (16;22 GMT), Sept 4, 2023, the Rosenberg Police Department began receiving calls about a vehicle having crashed into the Denny's restaurant... . The vehicle crashed into the south wall of the building injuring 23 people inside," Sputnik quoted the department as saying in a statement on social media on Monday.
The injuries ranged "from minor lacerations to severe injuries," it stated, adding that they appear to be non-life threatening, whereas the driver of the car was uninjured. Those injured were taken to local hospitals following the accident.
