PUTRAJAYA – Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has refuted claims circulating in social media that it was probing Public Service director-general for an ongoing case.
The claims which is dated Aug 23 were dismissed by MACC has fake news.
MACC said those responsible for disseminating false information are engaging in malicious and misleading the public.
In April, the Prime Minister's Department had denied claims that MACC would carry out an immediate investigation into cases of abuse of power involving Chief Secretary to the Government.
