GOMBAK - Friends and family members of Pelangai state assemblyman, Datuk Seri Johari Harun, have gathered at the Raudahtul Sakinah Cemetery Phase 2 in Batu Caves on Sunday.
The remains of the Pahang State Government's Executive Councillor for Local Government, Housing, Environment, and Green Technology was buried before the Zohor prayer time.
In addition, several authorities were seen making preparations, arranging seats, and setting up tents in the area.
It is understood that Johari's body arrived at the Jamek Ar-Rahimiah Mosque in Klang (MJAR Klang) at around 10:18 a.m. today.
On Saturday, Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan announced that all nine of the victims of this incident could be claimed at around 9 a.m. at the Forensic Department of HTAR Klang.
On Thursday, a private aircraft accident involving a Beechcraft 390 (Premier 1) on Persiaran Elmina, Shah Alam, claimed 10 lives, including Johari, who was also the assemblyman for Pelangai.
The incident involved six passengers and two light aircraft crew members, with two others being civilians, a motorcyclist, and a car driver who were passing by the scene.
The plane, which departed from Langkawi en route to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (LTSAAS), was reported to have been cleared to land at 2:50 p.m. but crashed two minutes before landing.
