KLANG - Family members of the nine victims of the Elmina crash arrived at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang, as early as 8am this morning to claim the bodies of their deceased family members in the tragic plane crash last Thursday.
They were seen waiting patiently on the grounds of the hospital's forensic department for the remains to be transported via 'van jenazah' (hearse) to the cemetery.
Also seen at the location is the Menteri Besar of Pahang Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, offering condolences to the family members.
The remains will be released after all identification and postmortem processes are completed.
On Thursday, the Police Selangor Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, confirmed that 10 people died in the ill-fated plane crash.
Eight out of those who perished consisted of six passengers and two crew members of the light aircraft, while the other two were civilians, one a motorcyclist and the other a car driver.
The plane reportedly departed from Langkawai on its way to Subang.
It received clearance to land at 2.48pm but crashed several minutes later.
