SHAH ALAM - Pahang exco member Datuk Seri Johari Harun has been reported as one of the 10 victims in the aircraft crash at Elmina, here today.
He was the state local government, environment and green technology executive councillor and Pelangai assemblyman.
The 53-year old was also Bentong Umno chief.
He with seven others were on a flight from Langkawi to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (LTSAAS) in Subang. The other two victims were a motorcyclist and a driver who were hit during the crash.
Bentong MP Young Syefura Othman in a tweet shared a photo from a meeting she had with Johari.
"It is with deep sorrow as it involves a dear friend of mine, the late Johari Harun, Pahang exco member who is also the Pelangai State Assembly representative under the Bentong Parliament.
"I am saddened by this loss. Just 2 days ago, I was in discussion with the late Datuk Seri Jo on ongoing development at Bentong and Pelangai," she said in the post.
