KOTA BHARU - Former Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah declined to comment further on the appointment of the Kelantan State Exco, who were sworn in today.
Nik Amar, when approached by reporters in his residence after the Asar prayers, mentioned that he has not yet seen the full list of the newly sworn-in state government exco.
"I haven't seen the full list of the exco who took their oaths of office today. So, I can't provide any comments.
"Moreover, I am currently receiving many guests. I apologize for not being able to spare time at the moment," he said briefly.
Earlier, the media reported that Mohd Amar has no issues if his name is not listed in the leadership of the Kelantan state.
He will continue his duties as a State Assemblyman and acknowledges the party's decision.
Meanwhile, Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud was appointed as the new Kelantan Menteri Besar and took the oath of office at the State Palace in Kubang Kerian today evening.
Former Islamic Development, Da'wah, Information, and Seranta Relations Committee Chairman won the Meranti State Assembly seat in the recent Saturday State Election.
The position of Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar is held by Datuk Dr. Mohamed Fadzli Hassan.
