SHAH ALAM - Subang MP Wong Chen congratulates Michelle Ng and Ng Sze Han for their landslide victory in Subang Jaya and Kinrara seats respectively. The two seats are constituencies under the Subang parliamentary seat.
Wong said both Michelle and Ng were incumbents and have been re-elected back to office having won comfortably today.
Michelle won by a landslide of 60,697 votes with 50,969 majority out of the 75,422 people who voted today.
There was a total of 207 spoilt votes and registered voters 111,970.
The voter turnout for the Subang Jaya seat was 67 per cent.
Michelle beat Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) S. Gana, who obtained 9,728 votes, while Zayd Shaukat from Muda with 4,790 votes.
In her celebratory video, Michelle pledge to serve the people of Subang at the best of her ability and thanked her team and supporters for going on the journey with her.
Ng meanwhile received 70,221 votes from 87,348 people who voted today. He won by a majority of 53,870. His opponent Wong Yong Klang from PN received 16,351 votes.
The Kinrara seat saw a total of 70 per cent voter turnout.
"Thank you to the people of Kinrara for trusting for. Remain five years. We empower Kinrara. We build it together,” he said in Tweet upon the win.
