TANJUNG MALIM - Police are hunting four men suspected of an armed robbery at premises in Taman Sentosa here last Monday.
Tanjung Malim District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Hasni Mohd Nasir said the 3.15am incident involved a married couple, aged 70 and 66.
"All suspects wore face masks and gloves while entering the store through the roller shutter door. The victims noticed their presence and attempted to scream but were silenced by a suspect wielding a machete.
"The victims, frightened, gave up jewellery, RM2,000 cash, and sales money worth RM10,000," he said.
Mohd Hasni added that the couple involved suffered no injuries.
"The case is probed under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.
"Anyone with information about the incident can contact Inspector Raja Nabila Raja Abdul Samad at 012-2854320 to assist with the investigation," he said.
