PERAI - DAP and Pakatan Harapan (PH) have never told the people to hate each other; in fact, they want everyone to be united, says DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang.
To make Malaysia great again, Lim urged all races in the country to be united in harmony.
"To make Malaysia great again, the people must be united. All races, religions, and cultures in this country should not hate each other.
"DAP and PH have never told the people to hate each other; we are all Malaysians; we must respect each other.
"Every one of us has something to contribute to the greatness of the country," he said when met at Taman Chai Leng here today.
Therefore, Lim said that Malaysia cannot be great with only one race and religion; it can only be great with the cooperation of all races and religions.
In saying so, Lim called on all Penangites to cast their vote for PH and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates for a better change in the state and the country.
"This morning, I was in Teluk Bahang for a campaign with an Umno candidate. I have joined the campaigns held throughout Penang.
"I call on all voters to support the PH and BN candidates so that changes can be brought to Malaysia, making it a world-class nation," he added.
Commenting further, Lim said that people are worried over the opposition Perikatan Nasional (PN) as they only raise issues related to race and religion.
"What do Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin or Tan Sri Hadi Awang have to offer? They only talk about race and religion.
"We are worried; the people are worried; ordinary members in PH, BN, and even Pas and Bersatu are worried about losing to other countries, so we must unite to make Malaysia great again," he said.
