SEREMBAN - Perikatan Nasional (PN) Negeri Sembilan is advised to create a new and more appealing manifesto compared to the one recently announced.
Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said that what the coalition offered was just a repetition.
"I think what has been stated is just a repetition, and I believe there should be something new," he said when met during a visit to an early polling center at the Sikamat Police Station here today.
Previously, Negeri Sembilan PN launched its manifesto, offering eight initiatives that would be implemented if the coalition succeeds in forming the state government after the State Elections.
Among the offers are initiatives like the Bantuan Prihatin for Nismilan Traders with a grant allocation of RM4 million per year for sellers and small-scale businessmen, and the Nismilan Muda initiative that aims to provide digital business training to young entrepreneurs with an allocation of RM1 million per year.
Meanwhile, Aminuddin, who is a PH candidate for the Sikamat State Legislative Assembly, expressed his belief that Malay community support for the Unity Government coalition was increasing compared to what it was in April.
He attributed this positive change to efforts made to provide explanations to the public throughout the campaign period.
"Support for PH and Barisan Nasional (BN) continues to increase up until two days ago, and the increased support from the Malay community is also likely due to the explanations we provided.
"God-willing, I am confident that the Malay community will stand with PH and BN, as well as the Chinese and Indian communities," he said.
