KEPALA BATAS - The Perikatan Nasional (PN) manifesto offers great education allocations for Penang students.
Gerakan President Datuk Dr Dominic Lau Hoe Chai said RM1,200 will be given to Penang students who are registered under higher education institutions.
"An amount of RM1,200 will be given to all children of Penang who will be registered in a higher education institutions, including IPG colleges of higher education," he said.
Lau said this while presenting the manifesto at the Penang PN Manifesto Launch at Hotel Seri Malaysia, Kepala Batas here today.
Lau also said that new matriculation students and Form 6 students will be receiving RM500 each if PN is given the mandate in the upcoming state elections
Lau further said that PN emphasises on students of all races in Malaysia.
"All new students in matriculation and Form 6, will be given RM500 each.
"We do not discriminate, all students regardless of their Malay, Chinese and Indian are children of Malaysia," he said.
Lau said that PN will also be allocating RM14 million to all religious schools in Malaysia including missionary shools, Tamil schools and Chinese schools.
"PN does not sideline religious schools in Malaysia, an amount of RM14 million is allocated to religious schools, missionary schools, Tamil schools and Chinese schools.
"An amount of RM1 million will be provided to all government schools in Penang under PIBG funds," he said.
The PN coalition offered 33 manifestos for Penangites for the upcoming state election; which will be held on Aug 12.
