SHAH ALAM - The Perikatan Nasional (PN) leadership especially those from Bersatu supoosedly feel that Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is becoming a burden to their election campaigns.
According to Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Rafizi Ramli it was due to the PN Election director giving 'ammo' to opponents in attacking the party.
He said that was the reason for Sanusi's absence in the PN mega ceramah recentl as the coalition (PN) themselves had stated the absence of the Jeneri Assemblyman was to avoid the enemy's ( PH-BN) traps.
"Now there are traps. I think the drama of these 'trap' is just an excuse of the real reason.
"Sanusi can't keep his mouth closed, he was scolded and now the PN leadership (especially Bersatu) thinks that Sanusi is a burden for campaigning (constantly) providing ammunitions to opponents," he said on Twitter on Monday.
Earlier it was reported that Sanusi's disappearance in the PN mega ceramah in the Taman Ria public field, Sungai Petani, Kedah on Sunday night was due to a trap set by the enemy.
Alor Setar MP Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden informed Sanusi did not attend as he was advised to not to continue his ceramah that night.
"This was due to a trap set by the enemy, the trap wanted our Menteri Besar to step in and maybe say something unexpected, tonight we must be prepared for all possibilities," Afnan Hamimi said.
It was also reported earlier that Sanusi will face legal action from Selangor Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari and Berjaya Land Berhad.
This follows the accusations Sanusi made against Amirudin - stating that he was involved in a scandal with Berjaya Group Founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan in the Selangor Maritime Gateway project.
