KOTA BHARU - Pas candidate for Chempaka Nik Bahrum Nik Abdullah has no qualms contesting for the seat once mentioned to be for former Bachok MP Nik Muhammad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz.
He emphasised that the party's objective was to stand up for its values rather than catering to specific individuals.
Nik Bahrum said he had met with Puan Sri Tuan Sabariah Tuan Ishak, the mother of Nik Muhammad Abduh and confirmed that no issues arose from their meeting.
"We met like a family. InsyaAllah, I am also ready to meet Nik Muhammad Abduh after this," he said at a Perikatan Nasional (PN) press conference, today.
Previously, rumours were circulating that Nik Muhammad Abduh may be chosen as a candidate for the Chempaka State Legislative Assembly in the upcoming Kelantan state election.
Nik Bahrum, a fresh-face candidate shared that he received support from residents of all ages in the State Legislative Assembly.
"Up to this point, there haven't been requests for possessions. However, the individuals in the area are yearning for the unity and eagerness of the representatives to listen to their grouses genuinely," he said.
