BAYAN LEPAS - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today slams the statements made by individuals that say the unity government leans more towards DAP.
"All the party under this (Unity Government) coalition works together. They (the opposition) say that I am always following DAP.
"If they (DAP) are saying the right things, what is wrong with that? I am not anti-Chinese.
"I know this country's majority race is Malay, the national language is Bahasa Melayu, but Chinese, Indians and others are our people too, our family.
"Can't we take care of them as well?" he said in a Ceramah Mega Madani at Shell Tapak Lama, Sungai Ara, here.
Commenting further, Anwar said that there was no corruption during his eight months of governance.
"I take charge of this government with the help of my friends under this coalition.
"So there were no compromise and no corruption.
"What else do you want, do you want to buy me over? No way. You want to threaten and put me in jail? I don't care," he said.
