BAYAN LEPAS - Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional (PH-BN) candidate for Bayan Lepas Azrul Mahathir Aziz fears that BN will be confused with the party logo when the head to the polls next week.
He expressed concerns that the BN voters will not cross his name on the ballot when they could not find the notable dacing (double-pan balance scale) on the piece of paper.
"I’m worried that BN voters would be confused or uncertain on whether to mark PH or not as there would be no ‘dacing’ logo in the paper with PH.
"Don’t be disappointed when you don’t find the BN logo, BN is now in the Unity Government. If there is no ‘dacing’ don’t choose Perikatan Nasional (PN), choose PH,” he said in Ceramah Mega Madani today at Shell Tapak Lama, Sungai Ara.
Azrul told the crowd of PH and BN supporters there would be no BN logo on the ballot paper as there is no BN candidate contesting for the Bayan Lepas assembly seat.
"Only Azrul from PH is contesting here, mark the PH logo," he said.
The Bayan Lepas incumbent assemblyman further said that it was not easy to compete with his rival, Gerakan President Datuk Dr Dominic Lau Hoe Chai.
He urged all the Bayan Lepas voters to make the ‘blue-red’ coalition winners in Bayan Lepas by coming out to vote on Aug 12.
