KUALA LUMPUR - The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has postponed the closure of Jalan Sungai Besi in front of Fraser Business Park and Loke Yew roundabout, which was supposed to begin this Saturday.
DBKL's media unit in a statement said the postponement will be effective until a new date is announced.
"The media statement dated Aug 1, 2023, regarding the scheduled closure of the road from Aug 5, 2023 to Aug 4, 2024 has been canceled.
"Road users along that route may continue to use it as usual," it said in the statement, today.
Previously, DBKL had announced that the southbound lane of Jalan Sungai Besi would be closed for a year to accommodate for renovation and construction works on the Loke Yew roundabout bridge.
The affected road is the route leading to Sungai Besi/Petaling Jaya, located in front of Fraser Business Park and Loke Yew roundabout.
